Why agencies order it
In Ohio, ODOT’s Location and Design Manual, Volume 1 (Section 602) covers when a roadside obstacle should be shielded and how much barrier is needed. An inventory shows where your existing barrier stands, so your engineers can apply those criteria where they matter.
What we do
- Record each run, end treatment and bridge terminal with GPS location and milepoint.
- Review condition from 360° imagery and LiDAR: damage, missing sections and outdated end treatments.
- Flag runs that may no longer be needed, and prioritize repairs and upgrades.

- A located guardrail inventory with element types, lengths and condition.
- Prioritized work items, each with imagery.
- Summary reports for budgeting, crew scheduling and long-term barrier planning.
